Cablevision, Food Network and HGTV
We have been receiving many visits and comments from people upset that they not longer have HGTV and Food Network.
This site is completely unrelated to the television industry.
The company you are looking for is called Scripps Network.
Cablevision’s contract allowing it to carry Food Network and HGTV expired at midnight, Dec. 31.
As a result of Cablevision’s decision not to negotiate new distribution agreements, Food Network and HGTV were dropped from the cable operator’s channel lineup.
Time Warner Cable is also negotiating, but were able to receive a brief extension.
Thankfully, I have Dish Network and am not affected.

Very unhappy that we are no longer viewing HGTV………that is the main reason why we signed up w/cablevision. PLEASE RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM otherwise we will switch to Verizon or Direct TV.

Food network is my favorite channel. I spend hours viewing. I have learned a great deal and cooked many meals for my family. I am very angry you are no longer broadcasting, and you did it without notice. Try thinking about the viewers and not money for a change!!!!

Although both FoodNetwork and HGTV are goofy and lame, I’ll admit that I will miss Giada’s show… Ahh Shucks…

I’m very disappointed I love this network I spend my time home all day watching this TV network I’ve learned so many things I’ve cooked them and they came out fantastic. My kids even love the food I cook. please keep this network service it would pay for it even if you raise your prices for this show but I can’t afford to pay for the network because I have kids to take care of.I have a family to support just like you professional . I can’t watch this show anymore I will not be able to cook these delicious meals for my children. Please have a heart and contact me at my email address.

As a suscriber to Optimum, I am highly disappointed that Cablevision has decided to no longer broadcast both HGTV and Food Network. I hope that Sripps Network will negotiate with Cablevision and start to broadcast both of these programs again as soon as possible.

Please bring back HGTV and Food Network! These programs are one of the few reasons as to why my family still pays for Optimum!

I think the only people suffering is the people paying
we are getting less and still paying the same.
in these hard times we should not even think of raising rates
if we were given a package then we should get credits
for tv programing we have not received.

I am furious with both companies for acting like children. Just raise the price and be done with it. I miss both channels.

We pay a ridiculous amout of money for Cablevision and demand the Food Network and HGTV back on TV.
